June 4, 2003

In an international pyramid scheme where 96% of recruits lost money, according to the Federal Trade Commission, Skybiz will shortly begin repayment of about $20 million to consumers.

Skybiz, which purported to sell "internet mall" business opportunities, has already faced legal action in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, Bermuda, and the United Kingdom, as well as Hawaii, Michigan, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Named as defendants in the cases were SkyBiz.com, Inc; World Service Corporation; Nanci Corporation International; and WorldWide Service Corporation. The FTC also named several individual defendants, including: Elias F. Masso; Nanci H. Masso; Kier E. Masso; James S. Brown; Stephen D. McCullough; and Ronald E. Blanton.

Defendant Nanci Corp. is permanently barred from involvement in any multilevel program. Defendants Elias and Kier Masso are barred from MLM involvement for 22 years and 7 years respectively; and defendant Brown for 10 years. Defendant Blanton is permanently barred from any MLM involvement, in a settlement reach in January, 2003.

Defendant McCullough did not participate in this settlement.
